As a native Houstonian, I am proud to serve the University of South Alabama as the Regional Recruitment Counselor for Texas. Embarking on my third year of working in college admissions has sparked my passion for the purpose that education has to offer people. I am incredibly fortunate to discover a profession that I love and enjoy doing. Being based in Houston, TX allows me to get to know my students on a personal level, while promoting all the wonderful opportunities that USA has to offer. When I am not working, I enjoy volunteering and being with my therapy dog Trisha who is an adorable Shih-Tzu. I also enjoy exploring restaurants, museums, parks, reading, as well as attending live concerts and sporting events. I am thrilled to help guide students through their college search journey and encourage families to visit the University of South Alabama! Go Jags!

Thing to do on campus
The Student Recreation Center offers free classes and a resort type of experience! Exploring the Archaeology Museum, student art shows, and musical/theater performances are great ways to support your fellow Jags!
Thing about USA
South gives students the big university experience with an intimate learning setting. This beautiful campus engages students with many ways to get involved through division I athletic games, organizations, and outdoor adventures (gorgeous scenery and 1 hr away from Pensacola Beach!). While also educating students with small class sizes, faculty mentors, and many experiential learning opportunities. Truly the best of both worlds!
Thing to do in Mobile
Embrace the rich history of Mobile, Alabama by taking in the incredible architecture, eating downtown, visiting their unique museums such as Mardi Gras, Maritime, Battleship USS Alabama, and many more!
I love listening to Reggae Rock/Dub/Pop/Fusion/Indie, Alternative, and Ska Punk. Such as Rebelution, The Dirty Heads, and Sublime. Then I enjoy dancing to Country, Hip-Hop, Tejano, Bachata, Cumbia, Norteno, and Salsa. I also have an appreciation for Classical, Opera, and Jazz since I played Trumpet and Flute growing up. I love that Texas and Alabama share a similar passion and history for music!
My absolute favorite movie is "Grease". I have many memories watching this musical film with friends and family throughout the years. I gain a different perspective every time I see this movie, from my initial time seeing the play at age 5 to seeing the movie, play, and outdoor screenings many times as a young adult.
