I hope to be impactful in the lives of other individuals, and I want to build new friendships!

  • Where have you traveled in the U.S. and abroad? I lived in a small town in Maryland for about six years that was very close to a lot of neat things. This past summer I studied abroad in Prague, Czech Republic; Krakow and Warsaw, Poland; and Kiev, Russia.
  • What do you like to do when you're not studying? I like to play with my two nieces, watch Christmas movies, cook, and read a lot of different things—from Rilke’s poetry to mystery books to the history of some obscure topic.
  • Why did you want to be a peer mentor? I love meeting people and experiencing other cultures. I wanted to be a peer mentor because I knew I could do that in a more personal setting and help make the transition into university life a lot smoother for students. I also knew it would be a good way to spend my semester as I would make new friends and better my communication skills.
