Mr. Brunson was a long-time member of the University Of South Alabama Board Of Trustees. He had served continuously as a USA board member since being appointed in 1989. He served as board chairman from 1998 to 2001.
"Jack Brunson was a tireless supporter and advocate for the University of South Alabama. His efforts achieved what he desired most-- greatly improved opportunities for the people of his home state, which he loved so much," said USA President Gordon Moulton.
