The University of South Alabama will offer English as a Second Language classes at its Baldwin County campus for the first time beginning Monday, June 4.
The eight-week course will meet Monday and Wednesday evenings from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. from June 4 through July 25 at the USA Baldwin County Campus in Fairhope at 111 St. James Street, Room 12.
Since 1983, USA’s English Language Center has offered intensive English classes to students from over 50 countries on the main campus in Mobile. This will be its first expansion into Baldwin County.
Registration is ongoing for the non-credit Beginning English I course, which costs $200. A more advanced class will start in August. To register, contact USA’s English Language Center at (251) 460-7185 or usaesl@jaguar1.usouthal.edu. Spanish-speaking staff are available to answer questions.
