USA Department of Physician Assistant Studies to Host Open House Oct. 10 for National PA Week

In celebration of National Physician Assistant Week, the University of South Alabama, Department of Physician Assistant Studies is hosting an open house from 4:30-7:30 p.m., Oct. 10, at the Spring Hill campus, 1504 Springhill Ave., Suite 4410.

The open house is in conjunction with the celebration of National PA Week, which runs from Oct. 6-12.

Diane Abercrombie, academic coordinator of USA Physician Assistant Studies, said, “The purpose of the open house is to raise awareness of National Physician Assistant Week and to promote the profession.”

Cheryl Vrettos, clinical coordinator and interim chair said, “We want to give everyone a friendly atmosphere to ask questions and interact with current students and graduates. We feel this will allow the opportunity to find out more about the PA profession and specifically our program.”
