USA Mitchell Cancer Institute to Start “Cancer Prevention, Detection, and Control Program”

The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute is pleased to announce a new patient care service that provides the most powerful methods in treating cancer– prevention and early detection.

In the new program, called Cancer Prevention, Detection and Control, patients will visit with a team of cancer specialists to review risk factors for various cancers and discuss strategies to manage risk factors that can be modified, including prevention and screening based upon National Comprehensive Cancer Network guidelines.

Most health insurance plans will cover the visit. To schedule an appointment, please call (251) 665-8000.
