USA Mitchell Cancer Institute to Sponsor Science Café

The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute, along with the USA Chapter of the Sigma Xi Scientific Research Society, will host the Science Café on Breast Cancer, Oct. 12, 2007 from 3-4:30 p.m. in the USA College of Medicine Conference Room.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and the Science Café on Breast Cancer is intended to be an open, informal discussion to address any inquiries regarding the management of breast cancer.

Dr. Lynn Dyess of the USA department of surgery, along with Doctors Hung Khong, Adam Riker, Rajeev S. Samant, Lalita R. Shevde-Samant, and Raymond Wynn, all of the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute, will be among the clinicians and researchers available to answer questions regarding all aspects of breast cancer. This will include surgical management of breast cancer, advances in the treatment of breast cancer and promising breast cancer research.

The Science Café is open to the public. Refreshments will be served.
