The first Gulf Coast Commercial Real Estate Summit and Market Review was held on Wednesday, Feb. 27 at the Mobile Arthur R. Outlaw Convention Center. Sponsored by the University of South Alabama Mitchell College of Business USA Center for Real Estate Studies, the summit consisted of presentations about commercial properties, the Coastal economy and wind and water insurance.
“This event brought together a number of commercial real estate specialists from the Coast to discuss the local real estate markets,” said Dr. Donald Epley,USA distinguished professor of real estate and director of the Mitchell College of Business Center for Real Estate Studies, “The information provided the most current view available on local trends and expected future change.”
The summit provided certification hours to business professionals, including 7.0 CE hours by the State of Alabama Real Estate Commission, 8.0 CPE hours by the Alabama Certified Public Accountant Society, 5.0 CLE hours by the Alabama Bar Association and 7.0 CE hours by the State of Alabama Real Estate Appraisal Board.
