The University of South Alabama recently participated in the United Way of Southwest Alabama’s 14th Annual Day of Caring. More than 481 volunteers from 47 area businesses and organizations contributed their time, talents, and energy to spend the day in United Way partner agencies. USA Volunteers helped clean the grounds at the Spring Hill Avenue headquarters of the Girl Scouts of Southern Alabama Inc. Participating from USA were: Dr. Joseph Busta, vice president of development and alumni relations, Dr. G.
