With extensive training in technology from her 20 years in the U.S. Air
Force, Angela Rand has joined the University of South Alabama Baldwin County
Campus as the Librarian and Head of Information Services.
Rand, a full-time faculty member, will provide all library services to the
USA Baldwin County Campus’ students, faculty and staff, and is coordinator of
technology.
“As the Librarian and Head of Information Services for the USA Baldwin
County Campus, as well as a member of the library faculty for the main campus,
we were fortunate to find someone of Angela’s caliber to fulfill both roles. As
the coordinator of technology for the branch campus, Angela brings a wealth of
technological experience from her background both in the military and in library
settings,” said USA Baldwin County Campus Associate Director Dr. Cynthia Wilson.
Rand retired from the U.S. Air Force in 1996 as an aircraft electrician, where for six years she worked on Air Force One. |
