Society of American Military Engineers Gives $10,000 to USA
 
Engineers Give $10,000 to USA

The Mobile Post of the Society of American Military Engineers (SAME) recently pledged $10,000 to the University of South Alabama for naming rights to a room in the new USA Engineering and Sciences building, which will be constructed on the corner of Old Shell Road and University Boulevard. The gift supports the Engineering Excellence Fund, which was created to enhance scholarships, research, student and faculty travel, continuing education and much more. Additional room naming opportunities are available for the College of Engineering. Personalized recognition plaques will be placed outside each named room and on the College's Donor Wall.

The SAME gift is part of Campaign USA, the University's first comprehensive fund-raising initiative that has raised $79.2 million.
