World-renowned Violinist Visits USA
Midori performs for the group on the stage of the Laidlaw Performing Arts Center.
World-renowned violinist Midori visited the University of South Alabama’s Laidlaw Performing Arts Center for a luncheon with USA President Gordon Moulton, members of the music faculty, leaders of the Mobile Symphony Orchestra and major donors to the music department. Midori was in Mobile for a series of musical education events and performances with the Mobile Symphony Orchestra. The USA department of music wants to begin a new Strings Program and is searching for donors for the instruments, scholarship and sheet music.
