The University of South Alabama department of communication is hosting a high school public speaking contest on Thursday, March 25 at 6 p.m. in the USA Mitchell Center, Room 1101.
Thecontest will consist of persuasive speeches related to this year’s theme, “Social Justice.” Students in grades 9-12 interested in public speaking areencouraged to participate. First-, second-, and third-place winners will receive a plaque. All participants will receive a certificate of merit.
