Alabama Banking School Relocates to USA Main Campus

The University of South Alabama will continue to host the Alabama Banking School, despite the recent closure of the USA Brookley Center. The Alabama Banking School, which completed its 35th Annual Session at Brookley in 2010, will move to the USA main campus for its 2011 program July 31 through Aug. 5.

The three classes will be held in the Mitchell College of Business building on the beautiful USA Campus. Other arrangements, including housing and dining facilities, also will be provided on campus.

“We are pleased to welcome the Alabama Banking School to our main campus and look forward to a long and lasting relationship with the Alabama Bankers Association,” said Mitchell College of Business Dean Dr. Carl Moore.

Howard Brown, chairman and school director, said he was pleased that the move would allow Alabama Banking School students to have access to all USA facilities, including the libraries, computer labs, and the new student recreation center on campus.
