University of South Alabama students and alumni are invited to speak with representatives from various companies and organizations during the 2011 Spring Career Expo, which will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 8 from 1-4 p.m. in the USA Mitchell Center.

The job fair, sponsored by USA Career Services, provides students and alumni with information about current job openings and career fields. Undergraduate students can also learn about co-ops and internship opportunities.

Prior to the expo, students and alumni can attend workshops to prepare for the event.  The workshops include “Career Expo Success” on Tuesday, Feb. 1 at 3:30 p.m.,  “Resume Development” on Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m., and “Interview Skills” on Thursday,  Feb. 3 at 2:30 p.m. 

This year, Career Services will host a new daylong resume critique event called “Resumania!”  On Friday, Feb. 4, from 9 a.m.-4p.m., Career Services’ staff will review the resumes of USA students and alumni, offering tips to get them ready for the Spring Career Expo.    “Resumania!” and all other workshops will be held in USA Career Services, 2100 Meisler Hall.
