Alabama Gov. Robert Bentley recently made his first visit to the University of South Alabama campus since being elected governor. Bentley received a briefing on the area’s economy during a luncheon event coordinated by the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce and hosted by USA. After a campus tour, he told the Chamber group that he was impressed by the beauty and the growth of USA. He remarked that he appreciated the University’s importance to the economic strength of the region.
