The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute and the Alabama Department of Public Health will hold free prostate screenings on Fridays in June and July from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mitchell Cancer Institute Medical Oncology Clinic, 1660 Spring Hill Ave., in Mobile. The dates of the screenings are June 3,10, 17, 24 and July 8 and 15.

The screenings are free to all residents of Mobile, Baldwin and Washington counties between ages 40 and 75. Appointments are required. To register, call (251) 445-8428.
