The University of South Alabama campus community is invited to attend a brief ceremony on Friday, Sept. 9, at 9 a.m., near the flagpole in front of the Frederick P. Whiddon Administration Building to remember and honor the lives lost 10 years ago on 9/11.

The commemoration will include remarks from a member of the U.S. Armed Forces, followed by the presentation of the colors by the USA Army ROTC Color Guard. The ceremony will close with a moving rendition of “Amazing Grace” on bagpipes performed by USA alumnus Dr. Brian Doyle of Mobile.

The commemorative ceremony is hosted by Student Affairs and the departments of Air Force studies and military science.
