Think Pink Tea Held at USA Mitchell Cancer Institute

The University of South Alabama Mitchell Cancer Institute and Infirmary Health recently hosted the Think Pink Tea, an event to highlight breast cancer awareness. The afternoon tea, sponsored by Joe Bullard Infiniti and featuring catering by Martha Rutledge, featured a keynote address from cancer survivor Cookie Aftergut.

An Atlanta native, Aftergut started the foundation Chemoflage after a 2002 cancer diagnosis. She is a cousin of USA Trustee and philanthropist Arlene Mitchell.

Geri Moulton served as emcee for the Think Pink Tea, which welcomed about 200 cancer survivors and guests to the USA Mitchell Cancer Institute. The event also featured a “pink carpet” by local lifestyle magazine ACCESS.
