The University of South Alabama and its Police Department has partnered with MyForce to provide a proactive personal safety service that will immediately protect students, their families, alumni, USA faculty and staff with just a touch of a button on supported IPhone, Android or BlackBerry smartphones.

USA, the first university in Alabama to partner with MyForce, has integrated the MyForce Campus System into its existing campus safety programs, giving the USA Police direct and immediate access to incident information for any MyForce alert triggered on campus.

�The University of South Alabama Police Department is committed to providing a safe and harmonious environment so that our campus can thrive,� said USA Police Chief Zeke Aull. �To make sure that this occurs, the USA Police Department is constantly seeking new and innovative ways that will improve upon or complement our current crime prevention strategies.�

When a member sends a MyForce alert from a smartphone, USA Police immediately assess the situation by listening to audio and viewing the user�s profile and location through the MyForce Campus System, allowing the USA Police to provide on-location assistance faster and more efficiently. If a member triggers a MyForce alert off campus, the MyForce monitoring team works with local authorities in the member�s area based on the real-time GPS location information, providing security both on and off campus, 24/7 nationwide.
