Bio: My name is Catherine, but I go by Darcy. I'm a 19 year old junior attempting to double major and double minor here at South. I was born in Texas and raised in Australia. I ended up in Mobile because of the movie "Sweet Home Alabama" (no that's not a joke). My future career path is currently torn between pediatric dermatology and pursuing a PhD in accounting. I'm very passionate about my studies which keep me pretty busy, but in my free time I love doing yoga, running with my dog, eating spicy food, playing Mario Kart, hanging out with friends, and anything related to the outdoors or being on the water. I'm so looking forward to meeting everyone!

Bio: I'm not a native Mobilian. Instead, I was born and raised in Gadsden, AL which is around 4.5 hours away. It was definitely culture shock moving away from home for the first time. One thing that helped me transition, however, was being a member of the Honors Program here at South. As part of Honors, I made friends that have lasted throughout my entire tenure at South. I am currently the Honors Program Organization President, Vice-President of the Biology Student Association, and Life Editor of The Vanguard. I've always felt that being involved in something off campus is important for students. I am a singer of the Pur College Ministry's praise band at Forest Hill Church of God. Biology, though, is my passion. I love it and am planning on attending graduate school to study coral reef ecology.
