As stated on the Membership page, one of the benefits of being a member of the ACS Student Affiliates is getting some financial help when presenting at ACS national meetings. This is where the bulk of our treasury goes each year – to help students attend these meetings, present their research results, and network with students and chemistry professionals from all over the United States.

These pictures are from the 2005 ACS National Meeting in San Diego, California. As you can see, we don't send just one or two students – we send as many as are presenting! Check back here in the near future for pictures from the 2006 Spring ACS Meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.

Not all the students' time is spent in meetings and presentations. Here, the USA ACS SA delegation is having dinner with Dr. Spyridis and Dr. Wierzbicki (they're way in the back). Picture taken by Dr. Maria Ngu-Schwemlein.
