Our focus

Research in this lab focuses on biogeographic patterns in eastern North American species, population genetics of rare, threatened and endangered species, and molecular systematics of species exhibiting geographic disjunctions.  The primary focus is on plants, although previous and ongoing work has included projects on bacteria, fungus, salamanders, and turtles.
