CONSULTING ACTIVITIES
  • Designed, produced and installed the first microprocessor based
    Anti-Skid System (ABS) for commercial vehicles, 1975-1986.
  • Designed and produced a prototype public fax machine that won the
    National Bid contest organized by the US Postal Service.
    Sixty units were produced by S.J. Wells Company, Mobile and installed
    in post offices in Boston and New York. The entire project was started
    and completed during the Summer of 1989.
  • Designed and produced prototype photocopying dispensing machine for
    S.J. Wells Company, Mobile. The unit accepts coin, prepaid debit cards,
    and five, ten and twenty dollar bills. It charges different amounts
    depending on the paper selected. This feature was not previously available.
    A number of the units are currently in the lobby of the University's Library 1991 - 1993.
