I was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama. After graduation from Bishop Toolen High School for Girls (now McGill-Toolen) in 1969, I attended the University of South Alabama studied Speech Communications. January, 1970 I went to work at First National Bank of Mobile. I was employed by South Central Bell from 1973 until our office relocated outside Mobile in November, 1992. In September, 1993 I took a job at Providence Hospital and worked there until January 2006. On July 5, 2006 I began my career as a secretary at the University of South Alabama in the OB/GYN Academic Offices where I worked until February 2007 when I transferred to the College of Engineering, Department of Mechanical Engineering.
USA has been a part of family since 1967. My father, Albert A. Holley, Sr. worked for the university for twenty years as the Superintendent of New Construction until he retired in 1987. My husband, Ken, is a graduate student in Instructional Design, my son, Ken Holley, Jr. attended USA and was a member of the USA track team.
I am a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and my hobbies include going to Jaguar Basketball games, working in my yard and spending time with my very large family. |
