Membership
GLBTA is an open organization, with the aim of welcoming all members of the University of South Alabama community. Membership does not require that one be a particular sexual orientation, nor does membership imply anyone's sexual orientation. Membership is equally encouraged for men and women. The only real requirement is that you do not disrupt the proceedings or violate GLBTA's pledge to the confidentiality of its membership and activities. We prefer that you be 18 years of age or older. Students at USA make up the majority of members, although students at other area colleges and universities, as well as members of the larger University and regional community, are always welcome to join us. If you have any questions about membership, please e-mail us at usaglba@gmail.com and we will be glad to give you more information.
Membership does not require weekly attendance. If class and work schedules only afford you a small amount of spare time, please feel free to join us when you can. Once a month, or once a week, GLBTA is still here for you.
