There have been several recent property thefts from buildings on the main campus. In most cases these thefts are taking place after hours from unlocked offices and classrooms.

The University Police want to remind everyone to be vigilant and lock their offices and classrooms even when they are left unattended for a short time. Also remember to take valuable items with you.

It is important to record the serial numbers of valuable equipment, such as laptop computers, in order to help identify them in case of theft and recovery.
