Access Course Reserves via SOUTHcat
Reserve materials (print, media and electronic formats) will be processed as they are received. Please allow five working days for the Reserves Coordinator to collect the materials. All articles will be placed on Electronic Reserve for remote access unless otherwise specified. Some publishers, such as Harvard Business School Press, will not allow their materials to be placed on electronic reserve. For more information, check MCOB Guidelines for Electronic Reserve.
If materials need to be pulled from one of the library's collections, just fill in the call number and we will retrieve the item for processing. If SOUTHcat, the library's online catalog, shows multiple copies of an item, make sure to indicate how many copies you want on Course Reserves.
Non-library owned materials such as personal copies of books, journal articles, chapters from books, tests, media, etc., must be delivered to the University Library Circulation Desk in person or emailed as attachments to buscirc@usouthal.edu. Call numbers will then be assigned to each item.
You may complete the web form below or fill out a paper form available at http://www.southalabama.edu/univlib/mcob/forms/reserveform.pdf. When assigning titles to non-book items, please use the same title as you list on the course syllabi.
