Eligibility
Who can participate in Upward Bound?
	Students who enroll in the Upward Bound program must be a first generation college student (neither parent has a 4 year college degree) or meet income eligible guidelines or have a disability.
	The USA Upward Bound program selects students in grades 9-12 who attend one of the following "target schools": Mattie T. Blount High School, C. F. Vigor High School, and Lillie B. Williamson High School.
	Program Requirements: Students must have an interest and desire to attend college Students must be willing to participate in Upward Bound in the summer and during the regular school year Students are encouraged to remain in the program through graduation from high school Upward Bound encourages diversity and welcomes applications from eligible students of all social and ethnic backgrounds
