Counseling Services:

Dr. Christine Bogar, Assistant Director for Student Services, is available in the USABC Student Services Office for counseling every weekday. She can assist students with personal, vocational and academic concerns. Adjustment and emotional problems are handled on a self-referral basis and personal confidences are strictly respected. Appointments may be made by calling (251) 928-8133.

Library and Information Services:

When you need help with any research project, Ann Taylor Blauer, a full-time faculty member, is available in Fairhope at the USABC Administration Building to assist you. She will guide you through a research strategy for your particular assignment either at our office or by phone.

All USA students have access to over 100 online scholarly databases for research. If you need journal articles, books, and other materials which cannot be accessed online, Ms. Blauer can arrange to get these materials from any of the USA libraries. USABC has also placed reserve, reference, and research materials at the Fairhope Public Library for your use.

USABC Library and Information Services is available:

    Monday – Thursday 9:00am to 8:00pm (assistance available until 5pm)
    Friday 9:00am to 4:00pm
    Saturday 9:00am to 1:00pm (at Fairhope Public Library)
    Sunday 2:00am to 5:00pm

SOUTHcat is USA’s library materials catalog. It lists all the books, journal titles, DVDs, Video recordings and other materials owned by the University Libraries.
