TENURE-TRACK POSITION IN BIOMEDICAL SCIENCES
The Department of
Biomedical Sciences at the University of South Alabama has
expanded into new facilities and seeks candidates for a
tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant or Associate
Professor level. The Biomedical Sciences Department at USA offers
a B.S. degree curriculum designed for undergraduates interested in
pursuing post baccalaureate study in all areas of medicine and
health professions as well as biomedical research. Candidates must
have a Ph. D. or equivalent in Physiology or Pharmacology with 2
years postdoctoral experience; and have the expertise to teach
human physiology and pharmacology. The successful candidate will
be expected to develop an active research program and mentor
undergraduate research projects. Review of applications will
begin on November 20, 2009 and will continue until the position is
filled, with an estimated start date of June 1, 2010.
