of South Alabama STRUCTURE AND FUNCTION OF PROTEINS SUMMER 2008
The University of South Alabama offers an
interdisciplinary undergraduate research program sponsored by
the National Science Foundation to work for 10 weeks over the
summer semester in the area of "Structure and Function
of Proteins".
All participants receive a stipend, free
housing, food allowance and travel expenses as well as partial
support to attend a scientific conference to present their
results. Students accepted to the program must have a strong
interest in basic research, and are expected to work full time
in their projects under the direction of faculty advisors.
