PROFESSIONAL COMPONENT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The application deadline is MARCH 15^th of the year for which the admission is requested.
AN APPLICATION FORM IS REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS.

APPLICATION FORM

University of South Alabama students (minimum sophomore level)

· admission to the University of South Alabama
· successful completion of preprofessional component course work
· completed application form by March 15^th of the year for which admission is requested
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite courses
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite science courses
· a tour of the University of South Alabama Medical Center, Department of Respiratory    Therapy
· a personal interview with the Cardiorespiratory Care Admissions Committee

Transfer Students  

· admission to the University of South Alabama
· Transfer of Credit Evaluation conducted by the Admissions Office at the University of South Alabama, demonstrating successful completion of all prerequisites, or their equivalents
· completed application form by March 15^th of the year for which admission is requested
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite courses
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite science courses
· a personal interview with the Cardiorespiratory Care Admissions Committee
