PROFESSIONAL COMPONENT ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS

The application deadline is MARCH 15th of the year for which the admission is requested.
AN APPLICATION FORM IS REQUIRED FOR ALL STUDENTS.

APPLICATION FORM

University of South Alabama students (minimum sophomore level)

· admission to the University of South Alabama
· successful completion of preprofessional component course work
· completed application form by March 15th of the year for which admission is requested
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite courses
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite science courses
· a tour of the University of South Alabama Medical Center, Department of Respiratory    Therapy
·
a personal interview with the Cardiorespiratory Care Admissions Committee

Transfer Students  

· admission to the University of South Alabama
· Transfer of Credit Evaluation conducted by the Admissions Office at the University of South Alabama, demonstrating successful completion of all prerequisites, or their equivalents
· completed application form by March 15th of the year for which admission is requested
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite courses
· a minimum, cumulative grade-point average of 2.50 in all prerequisite science courses
·
a personal interview with the Cardiorespiratory Care Admissions Committee
