The Department of Speech Pathology & Audiology at the
University of South Alabama offers the Doctor of Philosophy in Communication
Sciences and Disorders, Doctor of Audiology (AuD), Master of Science in
Speech-Language Pathology (MSSLP), and Bachelor of Science in Speech and
Hearing Sciences degree programs. Two departmental degree programs, the AuD
and MSSLP, are accredited by the Council of Academic Accreditation in
Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology (CAA) of the American
Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Additionally, the department operates
an active clinic, the USA Speech and Hearing Center, that serves as a referral
