SFC (Ret) Stephen Perry is a Military Science Instructor for the Military Science III class at the University of South Alabama and is originally from Great Falls, MT. SFC Perry enlisted in the Active Army as a Medical Specialist October 1983 and attended basic training at Ft. Jackson, SC. Mr. Perry’s assignments include: University of Tennessee-Knoxville, TN; Med Trp, 3d Armored Cavalry Regiment, Ft. Carson, CO; Aviation Medicine and Physical Exams, U.S. Army Aeromedical Center, Ft. Rucker, AL; 1/15th Field Artillery, Camp Casey, Korea; NCO Academy, Ft. Sam Houston, TX; 546th General Dispensary, Mannheim, Germany; 5th Mobile Army Surgical Hospital (MASH), Ft. Bragg, NC; 4th Battalion 21st Infantry (L), Ft. Ord, CA; 3rd Battalion 32nd Infantry (L), Ft. Ord, CA. SFC Perry’s duty position includes Operations NCO, Platoon Sergeant, Squad Leader, Medical Department NCOIC, Wardmaster, Clinical Staff Nurse, Intelligence NCO, and Small Group Leader.

His military education includes: Advance Noncommissioned Officer Course, Basic Noncommissioned Officers Course, Primary Leadership Development Course, Equal Opportunity Representative Course, Air Movements Course, Security Manager Course, Wardmaster Course, Armed Forces Medical Intelligence Course, Practical Nurse Course, Jungle Warfare Training

Course, Faculty Development Course, Small Group Instructor Trainer Course, and Video Tele Training Course.

Mr. Perry’s significant awards and decorations include: The Meritorious Service Medal(1OLC), Army Commendation Medal (3OLC), Army Achievement Medal (4OLC), Army Good Conduct Medal (7th AWD), National Defense Service Ribbon w/bronze star, Iraq Campaign Medal, Global War Terrorism Service Medal, Korea Defense Service Medal, Non Commissioned Officers Professional Development Ribbon w/bronze numeral 3, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon w/ bronze numeral 2, The Army Valorous Unit Citation, The Expert Field Medical Badge, and German Marksmanship Badge, Bronze.

He holds a Masters in Business Administration and a Bachelors of Science in Health Science.

Mr. Perry is married to Hong Ngo; they have 1 girl, Kayla 3.
