A large group from the University of South Alabama traveled to Athens, Georgia to attend the Design: Connect, Create, Collaborate Conference.  The conference was held to honor Dr. Kent Gustafson who is retiring after a long and distinguished career in Instructional Technology.  Everyone had a great time meeting students and faculty from other instructional design programs, attending sessions, and visiting the University of Georgia and Athens.  Current IDD students David Ensminger and Betsy Anderton presented their research at the conference, as did IDD graduate Susan Codone (PhD, 2000) and faculty member Dan Surry.
