Throughout my career in higher education, I worked in the following areas: Registrar’s
Office, academic advising, student
recruitment and retention, alumni affairs, instruction, curriculum development, and program development.
Courses I have taught include: freshman seminar, introduction to teaching as a profession,
history of American higher education, higher
education law, student development theory, the community college, leadership theory, and the dissertation process.
I believe strongly that education is a solution to many of our world's problems. I am an advocate for students and student learning. Embracing the concept of life-long learning, I enjoy learning with my students.
