The International Studies Program breaks the traditional mold to offer a multi-disciplinary and multi-college program designed to prepare students for the needs of tomorrow’s global society. The program, leading to the degree of Bachelor of Arts, combines the study of foreign language and culture with broad training in international studies, regional studies (Asia, Europe, Latin America), international relations, and international business. Upon graduation, the student can enter the private or public sector with skills needed in an interdependent world, or pursue further graduate-level study in area studies, international business, language, or international affairs.

"International education, with the broad perspective it brings, may well be the sine qua non of success in a global marketplace” (Henry Kaufman, Chair, Institution of International Education)

The International Studies Program is designed for students who have a strong interest in international affairs and who wish to build a solid foundation for a career with international organizations, non-governmental organizations, government, or international business.
