The 2009 SGA Homecoming Committee has been working to provide students, alumni, and fans with a week’s worth of fun and exciting events. The week will begin with the Bleed it Red Blood Drive and “Junk the Jungle”, the decorating of the traffic circle, and conclude with the announcement of the 2009 Homecoming team winners during the halftime of the South Alabama-Milford Academy football game. The committee hopes this will be an exciting year full of spirit and participation from the entire campus.

This Homecoming booklet contains the necessary information regarding each event being held during the 2009 festivities. Included are general information, schedules, application, and rules. Student involvement is crucial to each Homecoming event. Please encourage other students and student organizations to participate in as many events as possible.

Spirit points are awarded for each of the following events: Bleed It Red Blood Drive, Junk the Jungle- Decoration of the Traffic Circle, Paint the Town Red- Decorate Your Area, Raising Money for Children’s and Women’s Hospital, Parade, Cookout/Game Day, Wacky Games, Canned Food Drive, Wall of Shame, and Step Show.
