CQ Researcher Only 5 users at a time, so please log out when you are finished using this resource. CQ Researcher is a good source of information about contemporary social, political and economic issues. It includes background information on each issue
Opposing Viewpoints Research Center Includes periodical articles, websites, reference materials and statistics.
Academic Search Complete A general, multi-disciplinary database with many full-text academic journals within EBSCO.
Academic OneFile A general, multi-disciplinary database with academic journals within Gale/InfoTrac.
Newspaper Source Index A newspaper database that provides selected full text for 143 U.S. and international newspapers.
ProQuest Newspapers A newspaper database that includes full text of national and leading regional papers including the Wall Street Journal.
LexisNexis Academic A full text database of more than 350 newspapers as well as legal reviews, codes and case law.
Mobile Press Register Mobile’s local paper. For information on local topics and the local take on any topic. The library also has recent paper copies and the newspaper archived on microfilm.
