ScienceDirect: Journals and books from Elsevier. Use Advanced Search. "keyword" is a Subject Heading. Choose more that one discipline by holding down Control key (Command Apple key on Macintosh). Green box indicates full text is available--from 1995/6 to the present. Create a login account and request "alerts" on your topic.

Wiley InterScience: From John Wiley & Sons publishers. We have the full text of over 300 scientific, technical, medical, and professional journals, plus major reference works and Current Protocols laboratory manuals. Merged with Blackwell Synergy last year. Contains the journal:Molecular Microbiology. Use the Advanced Search. Subject Headings are called "Keywords." Use these to focus your search on the most relevant articles.

BioOne: An aggregation of the full-texts of high-impact bioscience research journals. Most of BioOne's titles are published by small societies and non-commercial publishers and are focused on the biological, ecological and environmental sciences.

JSTOR: an archive of back issues of academic journals in the humanities, social sciences and sciences with full-text as a graphic image. Included is a collection of botany and ecology journals. Use Advanced Search.Limit to Articles. Limit to biology disciplines.

PLoS Biology [Public Library of Science - Biology] Open-access electronic, peer-reviewed journal. Ebsco's Academic Search Premier: Some full-text. Many "Linked Full Text" in other databases. Includes book reviews.

Expanded Academic ASAP (Gale/InfoTrac): Some full-text. Includes book reviews.

Academic OneFile (Gale/InfoTrac): Larger, more diverse collection than previous one.

Web of Science: A "citation" index. Useful for tracking other articles by the same author and also for seeing how many times other writers have cited an article in their bibliographies.

AGRICOLA: National Agricultural Library's (NAL) Web Gateway to AGRICOLA (AGRICultural OnLine Access). It indexes books and articles on all aspects of agriculture. Publicly available.

Oxford Journals Online: Full-text.
