Google Scholar Google's attempt at a database. Set Preferences to University of South Alabama to link to journals for which the USA library has subscriptions. Sources of citations unknown therefore you may miss articles in our databases.
Finding Articles if you have the citation
Use "Our Journal List." Search by the name of the journal to find out what database it is in or if it is held in printed form in the library itself.

Create an account with your own login and password. Login to request books and articles from other libraries. No charge to you if the items are available in Alabama libraries and others we have reciprocal agreements with. Articles often come over the Internet. Books must be shipped. We incur charges for these so don't use it frivolously, but use it if you need something for your classes.
