Introductory Algebra (DS 082) and First Year Experience (CAS 100)Count Your Way!
This learning community is ideal for students who need to take the math course DS 082. The community includes that class as well as the College of Arts and Sciences first year course CAS 100. In addition, the community includes a JagPAL that is able to assist with challenges and concerns common to new students. Requirements: eligible for DS 082.

The Stretch for Success learning community welcomes students from all majors who seek academic support to help them meet their graduation and workforce goals. This community is intended to challenge and motivate students to successfully meet graduation requirements. Students involved will experience a particularly supportive and stimulating environment in which they can experience campus life; develop math and reading mojo; and begin formulating a graduation plan and career goals. Participation in this learning community, however, is by invitation only.
The Stretch for Success learning community “stretches” the 16 week fall semester to 19 weeks to provide every opportunity for students to be successful. Both Introductory Algebra (MA 100) and the First Year Experience courses (CAS 100) will begin during our summer term; however tuition does not start until Fall. Details will follow on start dates and campus housing.

Enjoy the additional academic and social support of students in your FY course, as well as a peer leader who understands MATH! Don’t feel lost in the lab, join this math community.
Finite Mathematics (MA 110) First Year Course (CAS 100)Are you majoring in a social science, communication, history, or another field that is not “math intensive”? This community includes the Finite Math class, which meets the math requirement for many students, along with the FY course. You will enjoy having a peer leader who knows Finite Math, as well as Supplemental Instruction for the course.
