Amanda Lloyd
Major: Chemical and Biomolecular EngineeringAreas of Expertise: Mathematics
Bio: I am senior Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering student here at the University of South Alabama. I am working on my second bachelor’s degree, the first from Georgia State University in Political Science concentrated in pre-law and public administration. I graduated high school in 2003 from Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA, which is about thirty miles from Atlanta.
I have spent most of my experience at the University of South Alabama working on expanding my knowledge in Chemical Engineering. I spent one year working in the Chemical & Biomolecular Engineering Alternative Energy Lab. I also worked for one year at BASF Corporation, a specialty chemicals plant where I served as a Process Engineering Co-op.
I am currently considering options for graduate school in Chemical Engineering or working in industry as I finish my final year at South.

Joshua Plummer
Major: Math and Physics Areas of Expertise: I have a good knowledge foundation of (and have had experience tutoring in) all math courses up to Differential Equations. I have taken Precal Trig, Cal 1, Cal 2, Cal 3, and DE here at South, so these are the most fresh in my mind.
Bio: My name is Joshua Plummer, but you can call me Josh. I’m from Selma, Alabama, which is about three hours north of Mobile, and was born on Sept. 11, 1992. I graduated high school in 2010 and moved down here the following fall semester as a major in physics. Just recently I decided to double major in both physics and math…just because why not?! I’ve had over 100 hours of private tutoring experience since 2009. In highschool, I tutored in a myriad of subjects, and since I’ve been at South I’ve worked as an SI for one semester, a tutor for both the math and physics departments for a few semesters, and tutored privately.
