The College of Education has 1800 students enrolled in fifteen academic programs at five degree levels ranging from the baccalaureate to the doctoral degree. Approximately 1300 students are enrolled at the undergraduate level. The majority of the students are enrolled on a full time basis, however a significant number attend part time.

The University of South Alabama has a diverse student body, with students from all but 6 states represented in the enrollment data. Additionally, 34 percent of the student populations come from “other” ethnic backgrounds and approximately 6 percent come from foreign countries.
