Summer Makeup Course in Medical Neuroscience

Medical Histology & Cell Biology (AAMC-approved and accredited)

The Department of Cell Biology and Neuroscience in the College of Medicine at the University of South Alabama is pleased to announce the schedule and dates for

Summer Medical Histology & Cell Biology
(June 12 to July 14, 2006)

This 75 hour course is for medical or dental students in need of remediation or curriculum decompression and is appropriate for first or second year students in accredited medical or dental schools.

The course is comprehensive and is organized into three areas of focus. The course first covers cellular biology by surveying all major organelles. Then the basic tissues are covered and finally the organ systems are presented. Throughout the course histological examples of major diseases are integrated into the course.

This course is AAMC-approved and accredited.
