4th Annual Hamner Lecture

Dr. Moira Amado Miller delivered the fourth annual Eugenia L. Hamner Lecture for the Graduate Program in English at USA on Wednesday, October 18, 2006 at 7pm in the USA Library Auditorium. The title of Dr. Amado-Miller’s talk was “Versions of Grandeur (and Defilement): Bodies that Mediate the Body Politic, or How Sex becomes Text.”


In the Realm of the Rivers

English Department Chair and Alabama Poet Laureate Dr. Sue Walker, and photographer Dennis Holt (left), speaking about their collaboration on In the Realm of the Rivers, a book of poetry, essays, and photographs exploring Alabama's Mobile-Tensaw Delta. Gender Studies lecture series
