University of South Alabama

There are nearly 200 student organizations at the University of South Alabama, providing students with wonderful opportunities to pursue existing interests and find new ones. The Department of English

The English Department houses EGO (the English Graduate Organization) as well as a chapter of the international English honor society Sigma Tau Delta. English students and faculty are involved in many other campus organizations as well, including the Oracle, USA's literary and fine arts magazine, and the Independent Music Collective, a student-run cooperative dedicated to improving Mobile's music scene.
