Field Trip #1: Snake River Field Trip

Tentative Schedule

8 am:
Outfitter picks up group up at Snow King Resort
9 am:
1st stop - Jackson Lake Dam (brief overview of glacial history of Jackson Lake, history of the dam and related river management issues)
9:30 am:
Depart Jackson Lake Dam
9:45/10 am:
Arrive at Pacific Creek boat launch
10:30/11 am:
Depart Pacific Creek
~10:30 am - ~4:00 pm:
Raft trip, stopping at 3 - 4 sites along the river (one stop will be a lunch break)
3:30/4 pm:
Take out at Deadman's Bar
5 pm:
Arrive back at Snow King Resort
