Dr. Michael Daley is Professor of Social Work and Director of the USA Social Work Program. He holds the B.A. in Anthropology from Rice University, the MSW in social Work from the University of Houston, and the Ph.D. in Social Welfare from the University of Wisconsin * Madison. His professional licenses include the LCSW PIP in Alabama and the LMSW-AP in Texas. Dr. Daley has taught in institutions in Minnesota and Texas. He has directed a School of Social Work, BSW and MSW programs, and developed BSW and MSW programs. His areas of research interest include rural social work, the social work profession, and social work ethics. He has authored numerous articles and book chapters and made over sixty presentations at professional meetings. Dr. Daley's professional service is extensive and varied. He currently serves as Chair of NASW's National Ethics Committee and as President of the Rural Social Work Caucus. Dr. Daley has served as a Board member of NASW's Legal Defense Fund, Coalition Co-Chair of NASW Delegate Assembly, and President and Treasurer of NASW/Texas.
